Marietta  

Landing Cape Cod Hospital on an unusually warm day in January,1944, Marietta’s life now centers in the parallel universe of an 1860 Harwich sea captain’s home that has housed other muses, including  painter Charles D. Cahoon.  

 REALTOR, grandmother, Buddhist, she is happiest arranging flowers or playing with words. 

 Her formal education happened at Kingswood School Cranbrook, Bloomfield Hills, MI where she lost her New England accent and at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY where she played bridge for four years.  

 Informally she has learned from every person she has ever met.
